How to choose Alpine Skis

• Choose the ski adequately to your skills and riding style.
• Choose only ski of suitable stiffness in torsion and flex.
• If you have the opportunity, do not hesitate to try out a large number of skis.
• If you are buying a second hand ski, make sure you inspect them properly.Check the edges and the base. Make sure it is not significantly grinded or even grinded through (especially toe and heel edges).
• Customers often ask us about the quality of the skis from supermarkets: In most cases, these are the lowest and cheapest models of skis with a modified design (SMU models) and thus these are more suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers.
• If you decide to rent alpine skis in our rental, see the prices: the cheapest alpine ski set (skis, boots and poles) from CZK 200 per day, the TOP racing ski sets from the current season for CZK 600 per day. Choose a suitable ski model after consultation and make sure they are well prepared (sharpened and waxed).
• Remember that you move at relatively high speed when skiing, therefore we recommend using ski helmets for your safety. The helmet can save your life.
